The problem is not..

scandinavianrogue:

..with social justice. It’s not hard to be an advocate of social justice. It’s not hard to fight for social justice either. Social justice supports basic human rights and equality. It does NOT encourage someone to hate someone else because of their skin colour. It does NOT encourage one to just shake their heads and go, “urgh, white people.” It does NOT encourage people to scream for the deaths of skinny, pale-skinned girls because they took a picture of themselves wearing a warbonnet.

It talks about the bigger picture. Getting more female voices in positions of power. Encouraging diversity in mainstream media. Advocating gay rights. Encouraging tolerance, acceptance, and open-mindedness. Taking care of one another.

As I said, the problems aren’t with social justice. Most, if not all, anti-SJ bloggers are actually FOR social justice.

What people on here are actually against… are the crazy, angry social justice warriors. These are the people who never provide adequate arguments. They hate people for their skin colours but believe they can’t be called out for being racist. They hate men. They hate straight people. They hate skinny people. They hate pretty people. They hate rich people.

They hate people for things they can’t control. They hate people for things they don’t need to control.

And that goes against the very core principle of social justice: equality.

That’s what social justice warriors don’t understand. Anti-SJ blogs are NOT attacking real social justice. They are attacking the extremists. The radicals. The ones who perpetuate the hate with phrases like, “white tears,” “die cis scum,” and “whiteys.” These are people who claim to support equality but continue to dismantle it. These are the people who claim to not be racists but are the most racist. The most misandrist. The most intolerant.

One SJW even told me that there’s no point in attacking the hardcore racists, such as some of the extreme white supremacists. Or the hardcore misogynists (like the one who told my girlfriend that women are inferior to men). Or the hardcore homophobes (the ones who think people don’t deserve equal rights). Instead, they feel it more necessary to attack a teenage girl wearing a bindi. Because, really, attacking a teenage girl wearing a bindi is REALLY going to enlighten and change society.

No, it won’t.

And, of course, the extreme SJWs will just call this post ‘tone-policing,’ when it’s really just calling them out on their bullshit. Anti-SJ blogs don’t support racism, misogyny, homophobia and the likes. That’s why they attack SJWs.

Simple as that.
